Of course, Belisario's not expected to be an elite closer...but the White Sox have sure made things interesting in the 9th this year, that's for sure. All these injuries and reasonably bad pitchers (aside from Sale and Q and maybe some others) and they are around .500. Can't argue with winning. Sox have won 3 of 4. Agree. I don't really understand the argument that the 9th is the same as earlier high-leverage situations. It's the end of the game so clearly it takes more stones. And if people actually want to argue that men don't have varying levels of stones, then you are either lying or you've literally never met other males in your life. He was firing 95 mph fastballs, and then started one hitter off with an 84 mph change. The guy swung so hard he lost his helmet and nearly came out of his shoes. His slider was devastating, too.
