Jose Abreu
QUOTE (flavum @ Nov 3, 2014 -> 07:57 PM) Tomorrow we find out if Sale finished third in the Cy. Isn't that November 12th? I thought gold gloves were tomorrow.
flavum
QUOTE (Jose Abreu @ Nov 3, 2014 -> 07:41 PM) Isn't that November 12th? I thought gold gloves were tomorrow. They're announcing the top 3 for all of the categories tomorrow at 5pm. Since Sale has no shot at top 2, we'll see if he's third. The Player's Choice awards were announced in the last hour, and Felix, Kluber, and Sale were top 3 (Felix won). So maybe that will be the same tomorrow. BTW, Jose Abreu won the Rookie award (shocker!)
Jose Abreu
Sale named an AL Cy Young finalist with Hernandez and Kluber.

BlackSox13
Found this hilarious little nugget at mlbtr.. "Cafardo says he got “a minute of straight laughter” when he asked if the White Sox might trade Chris Sale." That's a lot of laughter. Sorry BoSox fans, guess you won't be trading for Sale after all. You'd have to get a top ranked farm system to bite, and get their top 4 or 5 prospect's; even that, the answer is probably no. It does suck that the Sox have so much work to do, at both the minor/major league level to not waste the best years of Chris Sale.

Its hard to imagine or put on paper what his true value really is because its really an unknown. I'm not against trading any player for the right package but with Sale, what is the right package? I'm not sure it exists.

Agreed, that was a hell of a haul. Take the Dodgers for example, IMO, negotiations start with Pederson, Seager and Urias.
GreenSox
He has the highest trade value in baseball, but one at which no team would be willing to meet.

southsider2k5
Paul Sullivan @PWSullivan 14m14 minutes ago Phoenix, AZ Hahn says "we're all ears" on trades and no untouchables on roster.
