southsider2k5
Not to mention a huge homer today to show the offense that scoring is possible!!!
bulokis
he has been good. his homer today is huge. i thought Loaiza will lose a game today 1-0 against detroit for the 3rd time. well, this is a good sign to see his offense last year aint a fluke. IlliniBob72
Is Joe a rookie this year, or too many ABs last year? Either way, he could possibly end up with 22 HR 70 RBI and .270 BA. An excellent first full season in the league.

DonkeyKongerko
Joe's been up and down with the team since 2000 I think. He is technically not a rookie but this is effectively a rookie season since he has never started a year in the bigs.

Bmr31
I think 60 days on the ML roster?? sound familiar to anyone?? or maybe like 100 days./ Q: What are the qualifications for a baseball player to be considered a rookie? -- Ted/Judy Lohnes A: For hitters, a player will be considered a rookie if he had less than 130 at-bats in any previous season. For pitchers, if they haven't pitched more than 50 innings in a previous season, they are considered rookies. Also, if any player spent more than 45 days on a team's active roster, they cannot be considered a rookie

Meaning that he is third in all time August batting avg. ? Because the way I see it is that it is obvious that it's among active players if he is in the league leaders.
