Andy the Clown
Props to our scouting department -- Our two stars tonight, Noesi and Sierra, were picked up out of the dumpster, and look to be decent MLB players.

Not so fast. Sierra is still under the Mendoza line and Noesi still has an ERA around 6. Granted, they were good today, but patience. Princess Dye
The gods determined we couldnt be great yet this year, but based on last year they granted us some exciting wins as a reward for suffering Edited May 29, 2014 by Jose Paniagua

Noesi certainly got stretched out pretty quickly . Avoided his 1st inning struggles and pitched very well. Moises delivered the Sox to the Promised Land ( a victory ). Won without a HR which is rare. Jose Abreu
It seemed like we never won when at .500. So this feels especially good.

Granted, they were good today, but patience. Their stats with the White Sox are the only ones that matter Sierra is hitting .275 with the Sox And Hector has given up 4, 1, 3, 5, 3, and 1 ER's while starting for the Sox.. And that 4 ER was his first start in awhile.

Sierra started the season for 2/34 with the BJ's , he's hitting .275 with the Sox. Noesi's ERA is 5.14 with the Sox close to 7 overall. Bigsoxhurt35
Now they enjoy their day off and get ready for SD. Need another sweep because we have a killer stretch coming up
greg775
Always nice to sweep a team like Cleveland. The last couple years of Ozzie and under Robin (except the first year) we've not swept many teams. It seems like this team has had a much better season than one over .500. That would be amazing if somehow we got red red hot and won 9 of 10 and got a healthy number of games over .500. I don't expect that but I can dream. Nice job in bottom of ninth all around. Good job, hitters. Edited May 29, 2014 by greg775
chw42
Gotta enjoy winning against Cleveland after what happened last year. Also: Hector Noesi now has a 4.33 ERA and 4.38 FIP with the Sox in 35.1 innings. Both Rienzo and Noesi are giving the team a chance to win their starts and that's all you can really ask for from your #4 and #5.
Kyyle23
I'm not gonna say Noesi is cooper fixed and everything is definitely trending upwards for him, but the guy obviously has good stuff. Sometimes his change is downright evil
bmags
I thought game was over when Sierra whiffed on 3-1. That was actually a damn good sequence. Everything was away away away, and he went with the pitch.

They're doing what we need out of those spots what EJ and Paulino should've been doing. If Danks can get on track somehow we might be in contention for a WC

Sometimes his change is downright evil There was a reason he was a pretty highly rated prospect when he was in the Yankees system. He has the stuff to be a decent ML pitcher. Considering we'd have lost the sac fly, no, did not feel confident. For a minute I thought they were purposely walking Sierra to set up a DP. Glad they didn't. Speaking of Eaton, is it just me or does he got 0-fer quite a bit? His good games are good, but his bad ones are fairly bad.
