Well ultimately the US just still needs to be better skilled on the ball. They almost never even attempt to kick a sideline to sideline pass and they just were to hesitant trying to attack off the dribble until the end.

Good effort, could have maybe won, but still have a lot to practice.

Fantastic late effort and a fun run. Thanks for the fun USA...get better and lets make it further 4 years from now!!! Jozy, Julian, and Yedlin should provide us with some very bright offensive futures. Some late shots but I'm not going to lose much sleep over that, given how much we were outplayed. Hope the Belgians go far. They played an extremely clean match with minimal diving, etc. Class acts with some legit playmakers.

We had so many chances to equalize. That set piece on the Bradley free kick was beautiful, yet we couldn't capitalize. Execution is what hurt both Belgium and the US in this game. Belgium couldn't execute at all until they scored their two goals even though they had around 20 chances. The US had 4 golden opportunities at the end of the game and only capitalized on one and it was by a 19 year old who wasn't even supposed to play. There's no reason Wondolowski should have missed that shot at the end of regulation. Dempsey and Jones also had incredible opportunities to put in an equalizer.

The US team is definitely improved under Klinsmann, but we're not quite there yet.

In retrospect Green maybe should have subbed earlier instead of Wondo. He is young and raw but he may be the most technical player on the ball the US have. At that point I think the US was still playing for pks if necessary.

Johannsson probably would have been better than Wondowloski.

Hopefully this is the last competitive match we ever see from Wondo.

He is the typical AAAA player.

The thing is those are the type of balls Wondo usually scores on, when he's set up perfectly and doesn't need a perfect strike. He just whiffed.
