fathom
QUOTE (flavum @ Jun 2, 2014 -> 11:18 PM) Tim Anderson on fire--double. Up to .287. He's putting up some big time numbers of late. Milb.com had a video up the other day of his triple, and he showed some big time speed on it.

Bruce_Blixton
Seems like moving Trayce up to leadoff has had a positive impact on him, homers in each of the two previous games and a double today. Maybe this forced him to change his approach at the plate, hopefully he can sustain it for the rest of the season. On a side note Ravelo got his 6th HBP today, will easily set his career high this season. I wonder if the inflated total has something to do with how many long at-bats he keeps racking up, like the pitchers just don't want to battle him so they plunk him and move on? fathom
Hawkins average now below .250. He's making a lot more contact this season, it's just he has no hit tool at all.

Maybe see him back up later in the year. Edited June 3, 2014 by SoxPride18
Y2Jimmy0
QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 2, 2014 -> 09:10 PM) Anderson putting up some huge numbers of late...awesome to see Anderson has star player upside. He's the #1 prospect in the organization for a reason. He has very loud tools. Very raw and frustrating at times but he can be really special. The inevitable jump to AA is going to be an important one, but he's an incredibly exciting prospect at this point in time.
