BigHurt3515
QUOTE (Chilihead90 @ Jun 7, 2014 -> 11:48 PM) Sale should have absolutely started the 8th. All you people yelling and screaming about it AFTER THE FACT don't get any points from me. Were all of you saying he should be taken out after 7 innings when it actually happened? I must have missed that. But Sale should have never stuck around the face Trout, or really any batter after Alexei's error, that much should have been obvious. Agreed. After the first or 2nd guy reached he should have been out.. Pathetic

At this point it's fricking common sense. With his PC and DL stint he should've had one batter.
Feeky Magee
There was a slider to Kendrick I thought he had him struck out on, late movement meant Tyler caught it low but I thought it passed through the zone
South Side Fireworks Man
QUOTE (Soxfest @ Jun 7, 2014 -> 11:47 PM) JR will kiss his ass because he played for the Sox. I am frankly tired of it, just because you play for the Sox does not make you a MLB manager. Did they even interview anyone else for the manager's job before they talked Robin into taking it? They'll never fire Robin as long as JR is calling the shots. The job is Robin's as long as he wants it.

Wasn't on my tablet or laptop to post it. He could have either have been pulled after 7 or given the chance to pitch a clean 8th (first hit given up, pull him). Frankly I shut the ipad off and was ready for bed. I never thought for a seco d he would come out for the 8th. It was obvious he was laboring through the 7th. caulfield12
Please don't be one of these God-awful extra inning games where we use up every single reliever and lose in the 12th-14th. Almost rather they take a knockout blow right now. Well, no...can't quite agree to that. Trout was 1-10 against Sale coming into that AB. Cheated on the fastball. It was low, not a bad location. Just Trout was better in that instance.

Because I've gone back twice now and do not see a single person saying he should be taken out after 7, or that he shouldn't start the 8th. I'll await your quote proving me wrong. Melissa1334
I have no problem with him starting the 8th but it was obvious he shouldn't have kept facing all those batters. Wow this game was won. Butter Parque
This is pathetic. I petition we start out with an extra run each game due to our manager's utter incompetence. I've defended Ventura for a long to e but this was indefensible

You don't get points for being smarter than Ventura in your head. Everyone here are the greatest hindsight managers in baseball. Any great choice is exactly what they should have done. And bad choice is something they would have never done. It's just tiresome to see.
