Feeky Magee
QUOTE (TaylorStSox @ Jun 9, 2014 -> 08:14 PM) With all due respect, you're not qualified to call a player a good or bad defender. Have you ever even seen him play? By that logic, are any of us here qualified to say anything about baseball ever? He's a really bad defender. It's kind of obvious. greg775
Poor Tyler can't hit anymore. That 2-1 pitch was a cookie.

SoxAce
QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Jun 9, 2014 -> 09:14 PM) If that was true then why don't other managers do it? Tell me, when is the last time you saw a manager pull a pitcher after throwing a second ball? I haven't seen it once this season I've only seen them do it if there is an injury (or if they believe it is and the pitcher is hiding it). Usually they let their guy dictate the AB to the hitter. One of the unwritten rules if you will.

Tell me, when is the last time you saw a manager pull a pitcher after throwing a second ball? I haven't seen it once this season The top levels of sport are very risk-averse places. Often people will not do something simply because it's not usually done, e.g. going for it on 4th down.
