Seriously, any concern of Rodon not signing is completely unwarranted. There is a 99.999% chance he is signing.

Agreed, the only real thing of interest is to see if he signs at a low enough amount that will allow the Sox to make a real run at signing Montes De Oca.

They wouldn't be signing some of the guys they have already for slot money if they were concerned about saving enough money for Rodon.

Slam away.

I don't think this is his fanbase - it might be a Negotiations class at Kellogg.

Boras is the best in the business at getting his clients paid, but he's a total douche who rarely, if ever, breeds goodwill with the companies with whom he works.

To be honest, next David Price is my expectation for Rodon. That's the type of impact player I was hoping for at #3. That he also has a high floor is great, but I want him to be excellent.

I agree

FWIW, the June Free Agent draft is no longer close to Boras' pet issue.

It's the QO/compensation picks system and especially fighting back against the type of deals the Astros are offering to pre-MLB service time like Springer/Singleton/Grossman/Dominguez and also the Pirates with Gregory Polanco.
