southsider2k5
Seth Lakso @SethLakso 27m Jordan Danks just hit the first ball to ever reach the batter’s eye in dead center at BB&T BallPark. That’s six home runs in seven days... Matt Davidson follows Danks’ HR with one of his own. It’s the second time the duo has gone back-to-back this home stand. No one has more HR in the month of June then Jordan Danks’ six. Matt Davidson is third over that time frame with four. #whitesox prospects Charlotte Knights @KnightsBaseball 25m BOOM! Matt Davidson with a BLAST! Back-to-Back HRs!!#CLTKnights now down 3-2. 10th HR of the season for Davidson!
southsider2k5
Tommy Viola @Tommy_the_V 54m @SaladinoTyler at 1B for the first time in his career. Saladino playing 1B in today's @KnightsBaseball 12:05 PM game.
fathom
It's shocking how often Davidson has homered in his first AB, only to go hitless the rest of the game. Oh well, at least he's showing a ton of power right now.
winninguglyin83
also keep an eye on Jacob May. He struggled early and seemed overmatched. He's quietly moved his average to .216 and has 13 steals. And Wendelken has pitched a nice game -- only three hits in six innings.
oldsox
QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 10, 2014 -> 01:32 PM) It's shocking how often Davidson has homered in his first AB, only to go hitless the rest of the game. Oh well, at least he's showing a ton of power right now. But they lost 14-2 and gave up 20 hits.
GGajewski18
Anderson 1-3 May 2-3 Hawkins 2-4 2 RBIs Wendelken 7IP 3H 1ER 1BB 3Ks. Pitching well and lowering that ERA to 3.77 and a 7 inning complete game. Edited June 11, 2014 by SoxPride18

Feeky Magee
QUOTE (SoxPride18 @ Jun 10, 2014 -> 08:03 PM) Leyer having a nice outing so far 4IP 2H 0BB 6K Olacio pitched the first
caulfield12
QUOTE (oldsox @ Jun 10, 2014 -> 05:56 PM) But they lost 14-2 and gave up 20 hits. Well, that's because Leesman sucks and is just filler...along with most of the remaining pieces of that bullpen.
GGajewski18
QUOTE (Feeky Magee @ Jun 10, 2014 -> 08:49 PM) Olacio pitched the first 3 Olacio is with the Dash. This was Robinson Leyer on Kanny. Edited June 11, 2014 by SoxPride18
ChiliIrishHammock24
Nathaniel Stoltz @stoltz_baseball · 16m Leyer keeps rolling. Touched 96 in the third, flashing a decent slider mostly 83-84.
ChiliIrishHammock24
Leyer with a dominating start. 7 IP, 4 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 9 K Season numbers not too pretty though.
caulfield12
Anderson's up over .300 now. Two more K's for Hawkins, at .249 at the moment. Anyone notice how bad former high 1st round draft pick Bubba Starling's doing? Another high school hitting prospect the Royals seem to have missed on, to go along with Moustakas. caulfield12
QUOTE (Chilihead90 @ Jun 10, 2014 -> 08:10 PM) Leyer with a dominating start. 7 IP, 4 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 9 K Season numbers not too pretty though. Pretty terrible IP/H and BB/K numbers until today. Maybe something just clicked and he can build upon it going forward. If nothing else, having both MILB Leyer's pitching in A ball in the same organization and both Rodon/Rondon will be confusing to track/follow. Feeky Magee
QUOTE (SoxPride18 @ Jun 10, 2014 -> 09:06 PM) Olacio is with the Dash. This was Robinson Leyer on Kanny. Two Leyers? Ffs. Hope we don't sign Montes de Oca and the DSL Montas never makes the States or I'm boned. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Jun 10, 2014 -> 09:16 PM) Anderson's up over .300 now. Two more K's for Hawkins, at .249 at the moment. And yet Hawkins actually has a higher OBP than Anderson.
BigHurt3515
I have a feeling Hawkins will always be a .250/.260 hitter but with his power that could be ok.

BigHurt3515
QUOTE (SoxPride18 @ Jun 10, 2014 -> 09:42 PM) My thoughts exactly. It isn't bad if he can hit 25+ home runs and steal some bases for us.. And have an occasional break out year.
GreenSox
QUOTE (BigHurt3515 @ Jun 10, 2014 -> 09:44 PM) It isn't bad if he can hit 25+ home runs and steal some bases for us.. caulfield12
A more dynamic Domonic Brown is what we have to hope for with Hawkins...probably a late bloomer. Patience.
NorthSideSox72
Both lower level teams have been improving, BHAM is kinda treading water, but Charlotte just keeps going downhill. THat's what happens when you have to call up a dozen guys from AAA in the first couple months of the season.
