Soxfest
QUOTE (Dunt @ Jun 12, 2014 -> 09:54 PM) So when is Abreu going to learn plate discipline? If he does not lay off that pitch he will never hit over .

Jake
QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 12, 2014 -> 09:53 PM) It reminds me of Nestor Molina, where his stats were so incredibly bad compared to past performance that you hoped there was some simple explanation for it other than that they forgot how to play the game. In Nestor's defense, he's spent a fair amount of time on the DL and apparently saw an instant degradation in quality of stuff. He also had less of a track record of success than these guys since he'd only been a starting pitcher for one season.
Thad Bosley
QUOTE (Soxfest @ Jun 12, 2014 -> 08:56 PM) Trap where is the ump? Great question - that shouldn't have been that difficult a call for the 2nd base umpire to make. Has the umpiring really been this bad all these years? It's never felt that way. But with the advent of the replay review, it seems like there are many more blown calls than you'd expect. BigHurt3515
Lol.. Why do we always allow pitchers 1st or most in a game? Well we did win the series.. Hopefully we can do the same this weekend
ChiliIrishHammock24
Christ, finally Scherzer gets his 1st career CG so we can stop hearing about it every time he starts. Now if he can fix that other eye, we can end all the repetitive talking points. Edited June 13, 2014 by Chilihead90
