Interesting about Blanke, didn't know he was still in the organization. I selfishly hope Jace Fry is still with them in August so I can (hopefully) see him pitch when they come to Orem. ChiliIrishHammock24
QUOTE (BigEdWalsh @ Jun 14, 2014 -> 11:58 AM) The Voyagers begin their season Monday. Any news on their roster? When does Bristol start? EDIT: Oh yeah, forgot their changed affiliates. So do we not have a 2nd rookie team anymore? Where do our other 2014 draftees play? On our AZL team? flavum
QUOTE (Chilihead90 @ Jun 14, 2014 -> 03:15 PM) When does Bristol start? They aren't a Sox affiliate anymore. But I do know it will rain there. Arizona short season begins June 20.

Ozzie Ball
Nathaniel Stoltz @stoltz_baseball Lowry 90-92 t94, SL 81-85, CH 80-83. All are serviceable and could be at least average in time. Nathaniel Stoltz @stoltz_baseball 1m Lowry found a better rhythm in the fifth, hit 93 several times.

caulfield12
May 3/4 in the first game, finally got his OPS up over the 600 mark. Barnum somehow managed a triple. Mostly excited about Montas start.

Señor Ding-Dong
QUOTE (flavum @ Jun 14, 2014 -> 06:31 PM) Sanchez and Tekotte hr. Hawkins back in the lineup. RBI single. One more HR and Sanchez will have hit as many HRs in a month than he has over the entirety of his 5+ year career. Unbelievable.

shoeless_joe21
Montas nearly walked as many batters tonight as he had for all of his other starts combined.
caulfield12
QUOTE (shoeless_joe21 @ Jun 14, 2014 -> 09:31 PM) Montas nearly walked as many batters tonight as he had for all of his other starts combined. It was a weird start for him. Maybe too much rest? In the first inning, he had runners on 2nd and 3rd, two outs and a wild pitch scored both runners...kind of a weird play where the ball bounced all the way from home over by the dugout. But he only gave up 4 hits in 7 innings...and I'm pretty sure 2 or even 3 of those hits were in the first, so basically he was untouched for most of the game until the 7th again.
