Bob McKenzie ‏@TSNBobMcKenzie 1m

CHI has told Michal Handzus it is going in a different direction. Big veteran Slovak centre will be going to UFA. #TSN

And he turned and headed into that direction very slowly.

Time to piss off littlehurt:

All Hawks home games (except for those being played on Sundays, or those that will be nationally televised) will begin at 7:30 p.m. this season, as opposed to the 7 p.m. starts that the team had in the 2013-14 campaign.

Getting Kesler would be awesome, but I don't think that happens.

They would have to trade young talent for him, and then you have to trade someone like Seabrook to free up salary cap room.

Not impossible, but it seems a little far fetched.

Haha. The weeknight games I attend, I actually didn't like the 7:00 starts. I could use the extra half hour to get to the game or do something beforehand, especially coming from the burbs. And regular season games won't end past like 10:15 which isn't bad.

But whoever decides on 8:30 CT playoff games can still go pound sand.

If I'm Vancouver, my asking price starts and ends with Brandon Saad and I just don't think the Hawks should give him up.

No way. I wouldn't trade Saad or Teuvo.

That's how TV works...

Thank god. I've been pining for this since we won the cup 365 days ago.

Thank god? He leads the team in goals every year. Why are you so excited to get rid of him?

So you want to trade Patrick Sharp and don't want anything to do with Ryan Kesler? Did you GM the Islanders recently?

He's also been made of glass. I like it in theory but not sure he's as reliable as we want.

Honest question, why isnt there a NHL franchise in Wisconsin? It would seem to me that would be a good place to have one, they are pretty hockey crazy

Lot of Blackhawk fans already?

I know the Wisconsin Badgers are pretty popular.

Still you would think a team would do better there than Phoenix or Florida.
