Why are humiliating struggles so familiar with the Chicago Bears but not the Bulls or Hawks?

It starts at the top.

Now the media is just getting stupid. Apparently the Hawks didn't struggle and get named one of the worst franchises in all sports, nor did the Bulls have about a decade of suck?

To be fair, the Hawks success began when the guy at the top died. Although great top draft picks was the biggest reason for their success, same thing with the Bulls. Notice something lacking with the Bears?

Apparently it is going to be another one of those games.

Only the Jets, Panthers, and Sabres have a lower shooting percentage than the Hawks this year.

Toews and Kane had already been drafted when Wirtz died. Change was on the way.

There's no way it would have happened as quickly as it did with Dollar Bill still in charge.

It would have been interesting to see how everything went down if WWW was still around. A good core of the talent was already there at the start of the 07 season. As much credit as Rocky & McDonough get for the franchise turnaround, the success & talent on the ice was the #1 factor.

Agreed. It would have been interesting to see how it happened. The one thing that happened, that I am not sure would have happened under Bill is the signing of Hossa.
