I can't believe that Shaw goal is not allowed. They need to change that. Headbutting a puck in is some crazy creativity s*** that should be allowed. It's not like he punched it in or threw it in with his leg. A header goal is awesome. lol. Booooooo.

Anyway, great to come out of Cali 1-1. We've eliminated their home-ice advantage. 3 of the next 5 games are on home ice. Just win at home and we go to the 'ship.

I've never seen a game on so late in the afternoon down here (which probably sounds crazy to you all up there).

Huge win though, could be the big turning point in the series hopefully.

What a game. I'm on the west coast but I feel so bad for the many Blackhawk fans in Chicago who probably couldn't stay up to watch it in it's entirety.

Of course the two triple overtime games have been late 8:00 and 8:30 local time starts too. I took a "nap" at the start of the second overtime but was awake for the rest of the game. That 5:30 alarm came quick this morning!

That made me extra happy because they spent the whole game talking up the Ducks 4th line. Meanwhile, Kruger & crew do that s*** every single game. Hawks win!

The announcers were sucking off the Ducks all night. It was annoying as hell.

Sources say Mike Babcock has been hired by the Maple Leafs. Mammoth 8 yr contract believed to be around $50 million.

That's like double Q's salary and he was the highest paid coach in the league.

The Maple Leafs are like the recent Yankees money-wise, minus all the winning of course.

I don't get these lineup changes

Tevu was one of the more creative players on the ice during the playoffs. But I guess we need more Versteeg for whatever god for saken reason.

A healthy scratch since the first round, Versteeg impressed Quenneville recently in practice, and the head coach acknowledged how difficult sitting has been on the veteran forward.

“He’s had a great week of practicing,” Quenneville said earlier today. “He’s not happy. He wants to play in the worst way. Puts himself as a candidate to get in the lineup. We’ve had some decisions along the way. Last game we could have inserted him. We’ll see. I like his approach. I told him we expect him in this series.”

Feels like Anaheim is in full control of the game, but it's still just one goal.

I don't get the lineup changes for the Hawks at all. We lose face offs and offensive ability and replace it with turnovers.

Nobody does. I guarantee that's the first post game question Q will be asked
