RockRaines
Completely disorganized. Running into each other. On top of that Andersen is red f***ing hot.
southsideirish71
QUOTE (RockRaines @ May 21, 2015 -> 09:24 PM) The power play is horrendous. Its amazing with the talent that they have how difficult the power play is. They have hard times getting into the zone. Then sit out and take long shots without good net presence. They get one shot and then they have to regroup. They need to hire or bring someone in that can help architect this. Make him a specialist or a bench coach. Who cares but this s*** kills them when goals are precious.

SoxAce
I didn't see the game, but can anyone tell me why Quenneville benched Teravainen (arguably our best forward this series) and Vermette for Versteeg and Nordstrom? RockRaines
QUOTE (Tony82087 @ May 22, 2015 -> 01:28 AM) I don't understand what Nordstrom brings to the table. He isn't a fast skater, he isn't physical, and doesn't do anything particularly well, at all. I can almost understand Versteeg, but I still think Teuvo is the better option. Management isn't looking solid right now. You blew a 1st on Vermette who has been a scratch multiple times this season and in the playoffs, and Timmonen legit can't skate anymore. I've liked what Desjardins has brought to the table, but he's a 4th line role player. Not good. Vermette at least wins a s***load of face offs. I haven't seen the Hawks skate directly into each other as much as they did last night. It was like watching a game at Johnnies.

You really can't blame management because if they didn't do anything, they would be getting the same beef right now. The moves just haven't really worked out. I loved the Vermette move because he's solid at the dot and defensively, but I hated the Timmonen move. I would of much rather went after Jeff Petry

GoSox05
I don't know what is worse. Playing Versteeg and Nordstrom over Vermette and Teravainen or Playing Shaw at center. Just don't understand either at all. I don't know if that cost them the game, but it didn't help. Quenneville out thinking himself on that one.
