oldsox
Why not trade for him? Even with his sub-par performance this year, he is still better than at least one of our starting outfielders.

Let's stay with our own people. It seems every time a player gets DFA'd by some team we have the inevitable "let's get em" posts. The guy was dfa'd for a reason. NO
glangon
Short Answer no. Our outfielders are bad, so is Grady. We are looking to build for the future not let a broken down old veteran try to reignite his career with us. I'd rather see Keenyn Walker out there than Grady Sizemore....... Seriously though, the four outfielders we have are the ones we are sticking with unless we DFA Sierra or trade De Aza or Tank.

lasttriptotulsa
QUOTE (Soxfest @ Jun 17, 2014 -> 07:12 PM) I would rather see Sizemore than watch De Aza. Obviously not a huge sample size, but De Aza does have a .333/.417/.567 slash in June. He's clearly been a lot better as of late.

The Ginger Kid
QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Jun 18, 2014 -> 06:42 AM) No he's not. But he does carry more clout. 2nd_city_saint787
I still think ADA will turn it around. It was crazy looking at dudes numbers from the previous 3 years....Dude batted .323 with an OPS over .900 w/ RISP.

BlackSox13
Wouldn't the point of trading for an outfielder be to upgrade that position? The Sox have enough scraps already.
