The Cavs and Wolves reportedly have a "handshake agreement" for Kevin Love trade (@markstrot) http://bit.ly/1oaX0xY

And it includes Wiggins. Shocker. I spent 2 hours arguing with Cavs fans yesterday on their ridiculous theory that their top three players are better than the Bulls best player.

Bennett?

Kyrie, Love and Lebron are all better than any player on the Bulls and are better than any player will ever be. Also the reason they are the favorites is because of Kyrie and Love.

Once the Wiggins pipe dream ended they had to hook their craziness to another star.

I was asking if Bennett was in the deal.

I'm still not sold on Kyrie. His hog style won't work with Love and Lebron. We'll see.

Eh, injury concerns are injury concerns, but Kyrie is no Derrick Rose when both are healthy. He's also had his fair share of injuries.

Age aside, I would take Noah for next year over Kyrie in this NBA.

Ya no way is Kyrie better than Derrick. Love is a fair argument but I'd still take a fully healthy Rose over him.

Easily. In no world would Love be a number 1 on a championship team, Rose could lead a team to championship given a good 2nd scorer.

I've said it before and will say it again, the LeBron, KLove and Kyrie core doesn't scare me even half as much as the LeBron, Wade and Bosh core did. Not even close. The Miami trio could play D, that Cavs trio, not so much. The Miami trio was guided by NBA top Don Pat Riley, the Cavs are run by a bunch of misfits.

The Bulls are in the Finals provided DRose stays healthy.

Meh. The Cavs, imo, are going to rue the day they traded Wiggins in a few years. But Love for the next couple years makes them the easy favorite in the east. LeBron is still LeBron and in his prime. Kevin Love is the stretch 4 of stretch 4s and a perfect fit next to LeBron. Irving is better than '13 and '14 Wade and provides something critical that Wade never could: 3-point shooting. They won't be elite defensively. But they won't have to be. A healthy Varejao and likely Marion addition would give them enough defensively to go with what should be a devastating offensive attack.

The thing is the Bulls are filled with ?'s too and not just talking about Derrick's health. The Cavs to me are the favorite in the east with Love. The Bulls being their one competitor and the rest of the east is irrelevant as far as actually winning the conference goes.

I agree with this.

Yeah, this. Though I do like the Wizards/Raptors. Their core guys are still young as f***, though. If they take the next step, it'll be real interesting.

I like Toronto but I don't think their core is good enough to ever be a conference title contender. I do think Washington's core can get there but I think they're a year or two and a transaction or two away from getting there.

Lebron is the best defender in the league in my opinion but Cleveland will be a really bad defensive team after the Love deal.

I can't take Washington or Toronto seriously, at least as they stand.

Washington has pretty iffy supporting wings and only a slightly above average frontcourt (assuming Nene actually stays on the floor). Even if Wall and/or Beal takes the leap, that will hold them back against better teams.

Toronto got career years out of Lowry and DeRozan, I'm not assuming those are trends. They leaned on those two pretty heavily. I love me some Valanciunas, but eventually he has to get his s*** together. If Jonas turns into the 15-10 guy I thought I drafted before this year in fantasy, then things get more interesting for them.

It wouldn't surprise me a bit if Atlanta, finished ahead of those two. The Hawks are a bit thin in the backcourt, but they have a great duo up front if Horford is healthy and Teague probably won't shoot as poorly as he did last year.

It wouldn't surprise me either if Atlanta did. But Gortat and Nene put on a pretty good show in playoffs and would be a matchup problem for Cleveland if they are on.

Atlanta's shooting, if hot, is a terrifying playoff team.
