I'm actually surprised it doesn't happen more. These guys put so many miles on their body even before college between HS season, AAU, summer leagues, camps, yada yada yada.

This is a great question, his shoe just flat out gave way, looked almost as if he hit a wet spot on the floor. At another hoops site, someone posted a chart of Nike wearing players vs Adidas and the Adidas players sustained a lot more foot/leg injuries than the Nike ones, even though there are a lot more players wearing Nikes.

 

Could it be a coincidence, honestly I don't know, just throwing this out there for what it's worth...either way, he's stuck with Adidas.
