Yeah, the material isnt as strong as it was but they are light as hell.

Rose should just wear active ankle braces with his shoes, they would save him from every ankle roll possible.

He already wears braces with them.

When I played HS basketball, we quit buying Nikes. We couldn't get a pair that cost ~$150 at group pricing to last an entire season for around a quarter of the team. They did stuff like Manu's, though a bit more gradual

We had converse or reeboks because of the same issue. I actually wore personal Jordan's just for games that lasted pretty well.

Wasn't Jordan the one who changed his shoes at every half time?

Jordan wore new shoes every game. He talked about wanting that feeling that you get when you lace up a new pair and feel like you can do anything on the court with them...I forget which book it was. Also mentioned that he donated most pairs and kept the ones from important games.

It's NOT the shoes. Rose's current shoes offer good support, aren't as light and flimsy as previous models, and the new boost tech is actually pretty comfy. He also always wears those adidas "speed wrap" braces. No idea if he ever get tapes up or if sturdier braces like McDavids would help...regardless, I doubt any of that would have stopped him from hurting his hamstring last night.

I don't mean to toot my own horn. But the Cavs are f***ing good. lol@not making the eastern conference finals.

Boy, you sure are going out on a limb with that one! Not like every single NBA "expert" in the world is predicting the same thing...

Because they beat a pretty mediocre Atlanta team?

Btw, I think Butler is now officially the Bulls' best player.

An often injured Derrick Rose and Noah pretty much playing on one leg? Uhhh... yea I'd say that's not too far fetched to say. (some would say Gasol, but they don't understand the game)

So now you're a Cavs fan? Why don't you act like a Bulls fan sometime and get excited over a good Bulls team instead of jumping bandwagons and following your mancrush around and getting all excited like a little schoolgirl over Bronzy? It's like you actually want LeBron to beat the Bulls.

Even if I'm proven wrong though, still isn't as bad as your Knicks championship prediction, Paul George > Pippen (rofl) and DeAndre Jordan is the next dominant big, among other laughers (including LeBron > MJ) lmao

J4L never said he was a Cavs fan. He's just pointing out how they've predictably turned it on.

It's the regular season and against an average team. I don't get some posters here, hasn't J4L said in the past whenever the Bulls beat a legit contender (Heat) that he wasn't impressed? So do we actually care about regular season games or not? Which is it? I honestly believe a healthy Bulls team could've beaten the Heat in the previous years, a healthy Bulls team destroys this Cavs team. Health issues are also a concern among the Cavs...

I was mocking you for your absurd post after they fell to 1-3. And I will get excited about the Bulls when Rose goes more than 45 seconds without injuring something.

I really despise watching Kirk Hinrich play. I basically can't watch Bulls games when Rose is out cause he is so dreadful.

Watching Brooks play defense on Price was more dreadful. Really ugly game outside of Butler. Not enough movement, awful defense from Noah and Brooks, notably. Dougie and Nikolai definitely having some woes.

On days like last night when Dunleavy is invisible, play DMD more. He'll be aggressive and try and make something happen.

Snell is awful and should never be on the floor if the score is within 15.

Snell outplayed McDermott, who is still playing way too passively and having issues with turnovers. McDermott will get his minutes but these rookies have a lot to learn.
