He still is an energy guy- he most definitely was on Monday. This whole team except Gibson, Brooks, and Butler is dead right now. Chisoxfn
Awful game but its just one game. We still are playing way too sloppy, imo. That said, still a lot of time to clean a lot of that up and get stronger. Hopefully the Bulls learn from this. And Rose really needs to get out of this funk and start playing more aggressive. Stop f***ing settling for all these damn jumpers. They'll pull through and Rose will get better. I wonder if Rose is going through some dead legs or something like that as well (which is impact his shot).
SoxAce
QUOTE (chw42 @ Jan 7, 2015 -> 11:29 AM) He just can't be the last two weeks Derrick Rose. Because that Derrick Rose is literally worse than Josh Smith. His inefficiency this season is making Monta Ellis blush.

MexSoxFan#1
Yeah, even MJ's Bulls lost to bad teams from time to time, it happens people...all I ask from the basketball gods is a healthy Bulls team come playoffs.

Steve9347
Derrick Rose is now 28-of-110 from the field in his last six, so yeah, he might want to pass the ball more. In his last six games, Rose's usage rate (29.7) is greater than his effective field goal percentage (27.3), which is actually hard to do for that many games. He has more misses in his last five games (67) than DeAndre Jordan does all season.
LDF
isn't there an adage that say, keep shooting until you get out of the slump???

His shooting mechanics look pretty crappy, half the time he leans forward and honestly still looks hesitant as hell coming down.

SoxAce
Honestly it looks like he has dead legs. He hasn't played this much ball in two years, so the lack of elevation on his shots are noticeable. Probably explains the miss shots he usually makes.

Chisoxfn
QUOTE (kev211 @ Jan 7, 2015 -> 09:59 PM) If Kirk could just get a season ending injury that would be great. Stupid post. We have one of the elite coaches in the league who raves about him. Have you guys seen what Josh Smith has done, guys like Rudy Gay, etc. There are things that don't show up in the box score. This Kirk hate is just absurd. Yeah, he could do some things better but clearly he's valued amongst the league. Listen to any former coach talk about Hinrich, the knowledgeable analysts, etc, and you hear nothing but big time praise for a lot of the things he does and the value he brings to a team.
