Jake
The bright side of failing to steal that game is that it gives us a chance to play a lot cleaner game heading into the next round. They have played so little together that every additional game of prep they can get makes a difference.
Kyyle23
The Bulls played so terribly and still only lost because of a last second defensive breakdown. I'm annoyed they couldn't close the deal, but oh well
southsider2k5
Coming out of the huddle of the last play of the Bulls game, I asked out loud why Derrick Rose was on the floor for a defensive possession at the end of the game. I am still waiting for my answer. Dude didn't even get screened. He just lost Mayo. Embarrassingly bad.
Brian
QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Apr 26, 2015 -> 10:37 AM) Coming out of the huddle of the last play of the Bulls game, I asked out loud why Derrick Rose was on the floor for a defensive possession at the end of the game. I am still waiting for my answer. Dude didn't even get screened. He just lost Mayo. Embarrassingly bad. No he didn't. That game wouldn't have been tied after being down 6 a few seconds earlier without Rose. I think it's easy to bite on the first cut because you want to be able to contest the shot since you know it's a catch and shoot. It was a great play drawn up by Kidd. Why was everyone else defending the perimeter so closely, leaving down low so vacant. The whole team outside of Jimmy was brutal, but go ahead and blame Rose for the loss. bmags
going forward, bulls really do need some guard help next year. Snell has been good, but hinrich is done and brooks will almost certainly be gone. Would nice to have a cheap, long-armed guard in those situations. Kyyle23
QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Apr 26, 2015 -> 12:41 PM) After reading that post I had to guess he wanted Hinrich in? Was Hinrich available? To me it doesn't really matter, Rose is the best option there with his size. He got beat, plain and simple. It happens. Think about how terrible the Bulls played, how sloppy, turnovers, bad shots, bad defense. And they still almost pulled it out
Balta1701
JR Smith just took a swing at one of the Celtics, ejected for today after a Flagrant 2, could see more afterwards. Cavs could be looking at missing 2 starters for their next game.

Quin
Perk deserves at least a game, JR multiple games and Olynyk deserves a lot for when next year begins. Holy s*** that injury to love was disgusting to watch, so damn dirty.

Get a lot of length out there to get hands in faces.

Jordan4life_2007
Nothing official yet. But I'm hearing/reading Love could miss at least two weeks. This combined with what will no doubt be at least a 1-game suspension for (what a f***ing idiot) J. R. Smith gives the Bulls absolutely no excuse not to beat Cleveland. Bulls just have to get through tomorrow safely (knock on wood) and I think that they can take on the Cavs. I feel bad for Love, but with him, Smith and possibly Perk all out multiple games the Bulls need to hit the Cavs right in the mouth in Cleveland. Jake
If that's the only reason they've been carrying Kendrick Perkins, there's no reason to have Kendrick Perkins. You need your vets to keep everyone's collective cool, not instigate more cheapshotting after you've already lost a guy
