Oh, and for the "nobody can hit a mid-range shot" and "guys just chuck threes now" crowd.. The 5 remaining teams in this year's playoffs just happen to be the top 5 teams in 3 point makes this year. Suck on that Phil and Charles. It's a new game/age/era. If you don't like it, you can always youtube 1994 nba.

But J4L, that's because NOBODY can hit the mid-range shots now. If there were some teams that could, it might disprove what you're saying.

If Dwight gets Bogut into foul trouble often enough, that could be an interesting series.

Warriors should win in 5-6 though.

I think Daryl Morey is pretty glad that he didn't match that Chandler Parsons poison pill deal also, has worked out very well for em bringing in Smith, Ariza and Brewer instead.

Bernstein wrote about a rumor that Rose and Jimmy aren't getting along. Rose was aggressive in the first qtr of game 6, then he stopped doing anything after that and let Butler take the reigns. Bernstein thinks it's his passive-aggressive way of telling Butler to try and be the main man on offense.

Butler/Rose issues have been talked about on The Score all day. Goff reported some stuff as well.

I feel like there could be some semblance of truth to it. Neither will admit to it.

Rose has had issues with recruiting star players before. Maybe he just doesn't like sharing the spotlight.

That article is long on imagination, and short on substance. Other than the play that night, there is zero evidence in there. No player or coach statements, no interaction between Rose and Butler to read into... Nothing.

Nothing at all.

Is there any real evidence out there?

No, because no player or coach currently on the team would let that out.

Stuff like this seems out of character for Jimmy, but Rose's alleged behavior isn't completely surprising to me. The guy's never willingly recruited superstars the Bulls were courting that were definitely better than him. Gasol or Boozer? Yeah that's fine, they'll be the #1 guy on offense. LeBron or Melo? That means he's no longer the main guy on offense. Rose has built a brand that he's from Chicago and that he represents the city. It would only seem logical that he wants to be the main guy to win this team a championship.

It is only logical if you accept that Rose would rather be the best player on a mediocre team, versus being #2 or #3 and winning a title.

I think he still thinks he's best PG in the NBA. As humble as people think he is, he's got a lot of killer instinct. You don't play as well as he does (when healthy) if you don't have the mindset that you're the best and that you're the man.

Typical Bernstein. Long on theory short on actual sources. Trolling for clicks as always.

This is how I feel about it. I could just as easily speculate anything else I wanted, and have just as much substance behind it.

Didn't Goff produce Bernstein's show for a long time?

Goff is his own man, he doesnt parrot Bernstein. If anything, Bernstein listens to and parrots Goff

Yes. I'm aware. Goff had his own info on his show this morning though and then Bernstein wrote about it. But yeah they both must be lying about everything always because.

So Goff calling into the score for years as a fan then getting his shot due to those guys and then leaving and coming back because of their support makes him independent? Uh huh.

Maybe he truly has sources, because Bernstein doesnt. Maybe Bernstein took what info Goff had and ran with it. Or maybe two buddies sat around and speculated how their story could differ from every other one out there blaming everything on Thibs. Guess we will never know.

I forgot that when he moved to Atlanta and hosted multiple NBA shows on Sirius and CBS that he was reading from Bernsteins script. My bad

I forgot where I even mentioned that except to say he came back because of his guys.
