Tobias Harris re-signs with Orlando for 64/4.

I think that's an overpay, but with the salary cap going up and all, and he's only 22 and still has a lot of room to grow.

Orlando wanted to get Millsap and would have done a sign and trade with Atlanta including Harris, but once that didn't get done, they just had to re-sign Harris.

And that contract should still be very tradeable 2 seasons from now.

Hard to complain about Dunleavy contract now

CJ Watson just got a very similar contract to that from Orlando as well.

I think the Bulls should probably see what Jameer Nelson is after if they're still keen on a backup PG.

Did I miss his big self-serving signing celebration where he said he was going to win not one, not two...

The way he handled it didn't help, but let's ignore the fact the much of the hate also stems from the fact that he was ring chasing, and people often point out that Jordan, Magic or Kobe didn't switch teams to chase rings. Yea, LMA is nowhere near the conversation of GOAT, but then again that just brings me back to my point that Lebron got a lot of the hate because he was Lebron.

LaMarcus isn't anywhere near good enough for me to complain about him switching teams. On which recent champion would he have been the best player?

Aldridge, by most accounts, is the best FA in this class. Him and Leonard would be 1A and 1B on the Spurs right now. To say that one is a great player, but he's allow to switch teams to chase rings while the other is an elite player, and he isn't allow to do so more or less speaks to the irrational Lebron hate I was referring to.

Ding-ding-ding.

If you hated him for his Decision antics, that I could definitely side with. But if people want to hate him for choosing the best situation for himself or the fact that he spun off the Bulls for the Heat, then I think that's a bit hypocritical.

Shifting gears to the Blazers, they are completely f***ed in the ass in the offseason. They have now lost Wes Mathews, Affalo, Lopez, Batum, and now Aldridge. It wouldn't be fun in Rip City next season watching Lillard jack up 30 shots a game.

That's 4 starters from a starting 5 leaving in the one off-season.

Has that ever happened before?

I hate him for being the Bulls Slayer, but A LOT for the Decision. I remember my brother saying he almost didn't want him when we watched The Decision and I agreed. Still wanted him, but it would feel dirty.

Did they trade Batum to try to keep Aldridge?

Someone from their organization got in trouble and IIRC fired like a week ago for saying they had no shot to retain Aldridge. Seems like they knew it was coming.

I thought Vonleh, the young kid they got back, was supposedly the insurance in case they couldn't re-up with LMA. What's interesting is we haven't really seen them try hard to retain Aldridge or Matthews. It seems like they will pretty much tank for a good pick this year, and play the lottery for Durant in '16 or Griffin/Westbrook in '17.
