Dick Allen
QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jul 3, 2014 -> 06:49 PM) I believe Cook County has an income tax though, right? Plus Chicago has by far the highest sales taxes. No and yes.
Jordan4life_2007
QUOTE (scs787 @ Jul 3, 2014 -> 05:54 PM) Of course we'd be disappointed, but I won't be mad at the FO. They seemingly have put forth a great effort, so if he stays in NY I'll be saying f*** him and NOT f*** this FO. They can't force these things to happen. Plus he's not THAT great anyway. The last time Melo had a legit coach and was surrounded with a legit supporting cast, he took the best of the Kobe/Gasol/Odom/Bynum juggernaut 6 tough games in the west finals. He hasn't had that since.

Rowand44
QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Jul 3, 2014 -> 07:03 PM) DRose took the LeBron, Wade, Bosh juggernaut 6 games twice, yet you laugh they never have any chance. What was the difference? That never happened.

MexSoxFan#1
QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jul 3, 2014 -> 06:02 PM) Duh. I'm just saying. I never believed Melo was all about winning that he'd leave money on the table for possible championship(s). Not blaming him at all, BTW. I hope I'm wrong but it's the Bulls we're talking about. Big time FAs never come here. Edited July 4, 2014 by MexSoxFan#

Kyyle23
I will be disappointed of course, but it isn't like I felt he was coming to Chicago 100 percent. If it doesn't happen, the Bulls need to move on quickly and decisively. And by that I do not mean Mirotic, the end.

2nd_city_saint787
Marc Stein @ESPNSteinLine 4m Joakim Noah and the Bulls were in LA to court Pau Gasol today. Pat Riley and Erik Spoelstra are up next. Yesterday it was KD and Westbrook Again I say meh. Wouldn't hate it though. DrunkBomber
Like most of you I have always assumed he will stay in NY. Barring NY somehow getting LeBron over the course of Melo's contract there is no chance he will win anything with the Knicks. He couldnt even make it to the playoffs last year in the east, Pau Gasol isnt going to put you over the hump. Speaking of Gasol, I really dont understand why were even after him. We have Noah, Taj, Mirotic and McBuckets to a degree for the 4/5, we really need a 2/3 so I dont really see how Gasol would fit in with the Bulls plan. Well I'm not quite sure DMD will play any PF, so I guess it does make some sense. If they can land Pau cheap enough to still land a a few other good pieces it'd be a fun team. Nobody would hate LeBron for going back, I mean it's Cleveland after all, and unlike Miami, they have some nice young talent. Added bonus would be fulfilling his promise of bringing them a title. A win/win situation but Gilbert said some really nasty stuff about Bron
