how do you trade gibson though, if he helped you recruit him lol

If Melo demands a max deal, he'll understand what would have to happen for him to get it

Where would Rondo play in Minnesota?

At PG, Rondo > Bricky Scrubio.

I also want to get this off my chest with all the latest reports of whether Rose recruited Melo or not...I'm I the only guy who actually respects Rose for wanting to beat other elite players instead of trying to create a superfriends team? I guess I'm old school but MJ never tried to recruit his friends Charles Barkley and Patrick Ewing to play on the same team. That team would have won every year. I loved the fact that Magic, Bird, MJ, 'Nique, Isiah Thomas, Sir Charles, Karl Malone etc wanted to beat each other, not join forces.

It's this new NBA culture of trying to create a stacked team so it won't be as hard to win, LeBron left a back to back 60 win Cavs team because he decided it was too hard. MJ didn't leave the Bulls after they kept losing year after year vs Detroit. It made him that much more determined. I love Rose' old school attitude because that's what it is. He just needs to stay healthy, that's out of his control though. This Bulls team with a healthy Rose is a contender, we still need a scoring wing but the Mavs and the Spurs showed us you don't need a top heavy team to win.

In b4 Melo decides to stay in NY, screw him.

Hype/story-driven machine for LA is in full swing. Still makes zero sense over the Bulls.

It really doesn't, and worse nobody seems to be questioning that the lakers are still a bad team with Melo. So he takes less money to go to a mediocre team in harder conference, because of 34 year old pau gasol and 36 yo Kobe, because they would build around the. 32 yo Carmelo when they are gone?

I don't fault melo for going back to NYC, I don't think it's just about the money and he genuinely loves being the star ball player in the city.

But if he signs with Lakers to play with Gasol, I once again will be go smacked that everyone else's assets ARE ALWAYS BETTER than Chicagos. Not just Bulls, same with Sox.

In this scenario, Rondo is spun for assets in 3 team deal.

It was confirmed that none of that pick up game stuff was true.

A UCLA official confirms only that Kobe was there today, and that Carmelo worked out there last week. Nothing more

Broussard juT said Cleveland is the favorite for James. He is the best click troll ever.

He is promptly being torn apart. Watch him be right though.

Steven A on sportscenter saying if Bosh leaves expect Melo and Lebron to play in Miami.

Yeah, I don't know how that would work out. They would have to add a few solid bigs. And would this make a Lebron a 4? It probably doesn't happen, so it's probably not even worth thinking about.

All I know is he made it seem like this could take another week to play out. I'm sick of this s***.

I doubt teams will wait that long. Once July 10th hits, players are gonna start signing.

@Chris_Broussard: These convos aren't sourced enough 4 me to report as fact. But I've heard enough to believe "the wind is blowing" LJ back home. We'll see...

Lol. These sources are not dignified enough to be "Sources"

Steven A's report is the first one that worries me. I could very well see Bosh headed to Houston and Melo in Miami.

Strange fit to bring in Melo to play 3 and Lebron to 4 or vice-versa. Bosh did all the dirty work for that team that will be missed.
