Defensively Kyrie-Waiters-James-Love Verajao (but realistically their backup C due to injury) is possibly worse than rockets with only 1 plus defender (James)

Kyrie-Wiggins/James-TT-Verajao(but really backup C) is still not great.

That would all really depend on Wiggins development. Kyrie still has yet to be as great as people assume he is, to me he's nothing more than a streaky shooter and capable ball handler on a bad team that increases his usage rate.

Kyrie's efficiency has gone down every year since he's been in the league. But I don't think you can question his ability to create his own shot and handle the ball. Even in a down season last year, he had a .533 TS%.

With another threat like LeBron on the team, I wouldn't be surprised to see his stats absolutely skyrocket.

I wouldn't trade Wiggins for Love. I think Wiggins is going to be a star and Love is empty calories to me. Somebody has to get those points on that terrible team. He's good. Just not worth the max contract that he wants.

Count me in the camp that thinks Kyrie is overrated. You can't be THAT good any never win more than what, 30 something games?

I'm on record saying that I think Wiggins will be a bust. He'll maintain a place in the league because of his athleticism, but he's not some unstoppable offensive force either.

Both are better than what he had the last time in Cleveland, but it still won't be enough to win a title against the best teams in the West and potentially the Bulls/Pacers.

Is it that NevadaBuck guy? I only ask because I used to look at the OSU scout insider board (one of my best friends went to OSU) and that guy had some interesting stories.

Yes, he's literally the only real insider I have seen that has such a hit rate on commits etc. I still take it with a grain of salt but there has to be some smoke there for him to go out of his way.

Dont say that around a Cavs fan, I got into a huge argument about whether he is top 5 PG.

this is why i dont really think lebron will go to cleveland(unless they add love). lets say it doesnt work out there with those young players, what does lebron do? say well i tried and stay there and never win or make cleveland suffer all over again and leave? i think he has to be sure all those player pan out and for example wait a year or two and see how they play together and see if hes the missing piece. anyways, i hope he stays in miami since all the cavs fans seem to think hes going home lol

a cavs fan on another forum posted this lol

Rumors all year that Kyrie was unhappy and wanted out. Then he resigns a minute after free agency starts. (Has to know LeBron is coming)

Rich Paul, maverick Carter, savanna all want him to come back

Think LeBron has matured and wants to solidify his legacy as a cav.

Tweets picture of himself on Saturday working out with a tire. (Akron is the rubber city and capital of tires)

Tweets message to friend on Saturday saying "wishing he was in Cleveland to see his concert"

Maverick Carter's dad videotaped in a gas station (6 months ago) that LeBron coming back to play with Kyrie

Savanna tweets let the countdown begin for return home (1 month ago)

Lebron tweets pic of himself on way to World Cup wearing cavs colored shoes

Rumors flying Rich Paul gave cavs go ahead to free up cap space so they can offer lebron max.

Saturday afternoon Jarrett jack out on the market to clear up cap space

No pitch made to spencer hawes to stay (free up cap space)

It's done folks, all hoopla going on now is smoke and mirrors to make it appear Lebron giving everyone a fair chance. But he is coming home! And I believe it's been a done deal for some time.

Verajao won't be around if they acquire Love. At least one if not two of Jack, Bennet, Waiters, and Thompson would go too. Jack is the most likely if reports are to be believed.

Irving

Waiters

Lebron

Thompson

Love

Bench would be terrible but I would assume that wins you the east.

I'm upset we aren't courting Bosh.

You never know if we aren't. I don't think I'd really want to do a S&T for him though

I honestly don't think we could afford him. If Houston is actually offering him 4 for 88 or whatever, I don't see why he would come here. I think he's originally from Texas also

The question is, whether the guy who broke the Kidd story has connections to people close to Melo or the Bulls.

Guy has a source inside the nets organization. He's just going with the obvious guess to claim he was right when Melo signs with the Knicks and boast his reputation.

He totally got the Kidd thing right, but no way someone inside the nets organization knows about melo and the national media hasn't picked up on it.

Broussard on SC: I have word that Melo wants to make his decision by the latter part of this week *laughs*

That is interesting, considering he signed off of twitter yesterday claiming he was going on vacation from the haters and on his way to the caribbean

If you are Jerry Reinsdorf and you are attending a wedding last weekend and you are being asked about Melo.

Do you tell the truth? Lie on purpose? Or simply say don't know?

These days, if he didn't totally know you, I would venture he would say I don't know. Before the internet, my dad knows Jerry Vaniesi, he was the Bears GM, and he would tell them stuff when playing cards, like how right after they won the Super Bowl they offered TB McMahon and their #1 which I think was Neal Anderson for the #1 so they could draft Vinnie. I also went to a spring training game in Fort Lauderdale almost 30 years ago, White Sox vs. Yankees, and Roland Hemond sat next to us. He was telling us all sorts of things, like how the Sox had a trade worked out for Doug DeCinces but the doctors said his back was too messed up so they wound up passing. I think these days, both would probably be a little more careful.

Ha, my dad was actually at that wedding (assuming you're talking about Ozzie Jr) and said he wanted to ask Reinsdorf about Melo, but chose not to. Said the buzz was that he was staying with the Knicks though.

Woj tweeted Bulls/Thunder leading way for Gasol. I doubt he signs MLE but maybe 8 mil.

Would love if we could pull trade for Burks from Utah. Gasol/Burks/Mirotic is definitely a team that could get knocked out in 2nd round.

It all depends on Rose. That team could make the finals because the East is so weak. People forget that the Bulls were pretty good in 2011 and this team would likely be better if healthy.

Honestly the longer it draws out, the better for the Bulls in my opinion. If it was all about money it'd be done.

Also, lol at the Cavs.

They could have drafted Len, Noel, Oladipo or McLemore last year over Bennett.

Or Andre Drummond the year before over Waiters.

And Valančiūnas before then over Tristan Thompson

We could have been looking at Kyrie - Wiggins - LeBron - and then any of the two above bigs.

Butterfly effect. I think if they draft a guy like Drummond over Waiters they might not be in the lottery this year.
