Exactly, If KC needs that 1/2 game to tie or win the division they will play the game.

Still, it could come down to the Sox losing...if we lose and they win, you know what happens.

but yet we need to remember:

we cannot finish on 9-28 in a tie with KC -

KC may be .5 game ahead or .5 game behind

if they are .5 behind and win the make-up game

OR

if they are .5 ahead and lose the make-up game

THEN

we have to have a one-game play-off with them to determine the divison champ.

If we and Minnesota end in a tie on the 28th and then KC wins or loses the make-up game to make it a 3-way tie, then I guess they flip coins to see who plays who first and second to break the tie

THEY are playing catch-up!

We control our destiny!

Just win, baby!

Exactly, If we have to worry about that last game between the Angles and Kc, then we shoulndt be in the playoffs anyway.

oh?

I am not willing to surrender a play-off berth simply because that make-up game means something -

whatever gets us into the playoffs, I am in favor of

Let's make certain they don't have to play that game . . . Although wouldn't it be weird pulling for one of those teams to knock the other out of playoff chances? A three way playoff would be interesting. Anyone know the formula?
