The dearth of organizational pitching talent is both inexcusable and embarrassing. Maybe the white sox can start to draft pitchers with, you know, actual skills instead of relying on Don Cooper to reclaim anybody with their throwing arm artAched to their body.

You just described Paulino and Tommie Hanson pretty well.

Hey, Alejandro...where was that bunt at the end of the game last week?

Porcello 4-hit the A's. Scary.

8 pitchers that have made all of their starts that can't be left off the All-Star team:

Keuchel (injured?), Buehrle, Lester, Hernandez, Darvish. Richards, Tanaka, and Porcello.

David Price doesn't have a great ERA, but he's got to be there too.

Kluber probably has to be there.

Phil Hughes for the home team?

Kazmir is probably hurt now, but he's had a good year.

So, is Sale a lock with 12 starts?

I see Robin Ventura has L Garcia batting 2nd right in front of Abreu.

That's why he earns the big bucks.

Leury is like Willie Mays Hayes/Wesley Snipes in Major League. He tries to hit every ball out of the park and pops it up or gets under it, when he's been able to accomplish that feat just once the entire season (ironically, not at USCF, where it should be easier).

And yet he's still second on the team in OPS at 804.

wRC+ is a way better stat because OBP is more important than SLG.

It's more favourable to Dunn too, he's at 123, i.e. 23% better than league average

I know all those acronyms mean something and guys throw them out there like crazy, but it's all Greek to me. All I want is someone to be productive and the Sox to win

In that case, Dunn's NGPSLTSW (Non-Greek Production Leading To Sox Winner) is 4

One thing we can absolutely count on...the trade return will not be 23% above what we are hoping for with Dunn.

Unless miracles do exist, outside of Olympic ice hockey.
