Ask any left-handed hitter in the American League? Which pitcher do you hate facing more: Sale or Buehrle?

same in terms of the whole abreu vs rizzo,(rizzo made the final 5, should win though)

>buehrle just got off to too good of a start. on the selection show, really surprised by no sale too

Kershaw threw a no hitter, the Dodgers are leading the NL West by 1/2 game, he's in the 2nd biggest media market in the U.S. and he has 5X the name recognition of Sale.

His not being included is even more of a surprise.

Doesn't mean Sale didn't get robbed, but I see your point.

In before Greg uses this as proof that Sale isn't an ace but Mark is.

I wouldn't tie Mark's making it as a negative. Both should have made it. Buehrle defines 'all star' and deserves it. Obviously Sale deserves it too. He better win that contest to get on the team. If the AL wants to win, he should be on the team.

Green text = sarcasm, my friend.

Buehrle deserved it this year, no doubt.

Weird situation with Samardzija. Named All-Star, can't compete for NL and ineligible to be placed on AL roster. He can still participate in all the All-Star Weekend activities though.

I think they should let him pitch for the NL, see if he tries for the sake of competition or purposely blows it to help give the AL home field advantage.
