Whatever tweaks they made to Flowers' swing a few weeks ago has given him even less of a chance at the plate. I rather he go back to what he was a year or two ago and try and pull everything hard.

I'd rather he go up there with a tennis racket.

Or just try and get hit by the ball..

I played DIII baseball 8 years ago, I honestly think I could go up there and put up a similar line to what he's done the past 100 PA or so. For one thing, I'd f***ing chock up on the bat a little bit and look dead red fastball every single time.

His approach is awful for a guy with that slow of a bat.

Tanaka is coming back down to earth.

There's two schools of thought. Either he's getting tired/not used to the schedule and weather OR the book's getting out to lay off the splitter and force him to use other pitches. With him seeing teams for the 2nd and 3rd time (especially in the AL East), it will be interesting to see where he ends the year.

Gordon with no plan at the plate. Not even close to making contact

Seems to be pulling the ball a lot. Been a long time since he hit a gapper for a double to right center.
