I think Toronto has had much production from Santos than the Sox will ever see from that deal.

you are not authorized to make these predictions with percentages on totally mythological situations that make no sense

This is true, but they also paid over $1 million per save, so I don't see a winner on either side of the deal.

Another case study for why we shouldn't fret about trading away good-not-great relievers. Whether due to injury or loss of effectiveness, they simply don't usually last long.
