It may be nothing to do with Danks, but some promotions have happened in the minors.

Bucciferro to Birmingham

Snodgress to Charlotte

Repost that on the FutureSox board flavum. :) Good stuff man.

But who to chicago?

Doran is scheduled to pitch in Charlotte today. Used to have a Twitter account as far as I can tell, but no longer does. He didn't join the organization that long ago and, when looking it up, it does say he is part of the White Sox. Wonder when he deleted it.

Really intrigued to see the Milone return. Hope we tried

Agreed.

Millone to the Twins....Marlins were said to be interested in him. Could help in Danks/Marlins talks.

That was predictable. His reaction to the "demotion" to AAA when he was pitching so well must not have sat so well with Beane and Co.

Marlins make sense in that they have a surplus of ML ready outfielders. The Sox will probably have to eat half of Danks contract to balance out the value there, but Marisnick would make a lot of sense to patrol the OF next season.

Really I think the Marlins are more of a smokescreen to get the teams they are targeting to give up more.

I'd take Marisnickin a heartbeat! Not sure the Marlins would be willing to give him up but one can hope.

I agree about the Marlins , it just doesn't make sense but I'm not the one working the phones so I suppose it is a possibility.

Passan said that's it, straight up.

Wow.. if true, that's a hell of a deal for the Twins. Theo and Jed could of gave them their D prospects and that would've been a better deal for the A's.

Assuming they didn't give up a lot, that is a nice move for them. They need all the pitching they can get.

Passan said that's it, straight up. Millone is a lefty that was doing good and that's all you get , aaaa/back up of?

His "FIP" has been bad the last 2 years so I guess there's that line of thinking...With the Twins big ball park he should do well there.

Plus Millone gets to start in a similar pitcher's paradise there in Minny.

Good place for him to prosper.

I hope we at least offered Viciedo and/or Dunn and/or DeAza for Millone.

Weird that a PR/4th outfielder type has so much value to the A's. Fuld's not even close to Jarrod Dyson.

With the amount of starters they have, OAK didn't see any need for Millone this year. They may not think highly of him in general. Fuld, as we've heard Wimpy say a million times, can contribute meaningfully in the right role for a good team. Beane must have wanted him at that strong defense/fast runner/LH bat role.
