Flash Tizzle
From the Twins MLB site: Mohr was inserted into the lineup in the third inning after Torii Hunter was ejected for arguing balls and strikes. Hunter struck out to end the second on a pitch that he felt was low and coaches had to restrain the center fielder while he heatedly argued with home plate umpire Phil Cuzzi. "It happens," Gardenhire said. "We know the umpires are going to win. Torii's very intense. He wants to win." I have a feeling we will be seeing our buddy Cuzzi sometime this week during our homestand.

JoshPR
It's not. Don't ya think The ump would have reacted if Hunter would have touched him. If you look closely he's pointing and there's some distance between him and the ump. Cuzi and Guccione are the worst umps around right now. Very inconsistent
Flash Tizzle
I thought this was hidden somewhere, I brought this back because notorious umpire Phil Cuzzi (behind numerous bad calls in Clev. and Baltimore games) spoiled Roy Halladays 22 win. During the 6th inning, Halladay plunked two players and was immediately ejected. Obviously he had no intention to hit the players, as was obvious by his reaction. And......later in the game Tobi Hall was hit by a pitch in the forearm but was said to have swung at the pitch. Cuzzi ejected him too. Hasnt been a good month for our favorite umpire. DonkeyKongerko
Halladay's name should be the first on the petition for MLB to take a serious look at the quality of its umpiring. I don't remember who it was but the ump during one of the Cubs/Cards games a while back was pissing me off too. I'm not a Cubs fan but every time a player struck out looking and walked away unhappy the ump would take off his mask and start following him to the dugout. These confrontational umps have no place in baseball. I don't think any of the other sports has problems like this with their officials.
