GGajewski18
I cannot wait to see these guys back in Sox uniforms. Avi in terms of development and just the fact to see another part of the young core Sox are building playing. And Lindstrom bringing the veteran presence in the bullpen. I really think he gets resigned in the off season.
2nd_city_saint787
QUOTE (Charlie Haeger's Knuckles @ Aug 1, 2014 -> 12:08 PM) There's the Sox deadline additions. Yup, and they didn't have to give up a damn thing. Putnam should be returning soon as well. Really think Avi is gonna ball out and be a huge addition to the lineup. cabiness42
I cannot wait to see these guys back in Sox uniforms. Avi in terms of development and just the fact to see another part of the young core Sox are building playing. And Lindstrom bringing the veteran presence in the bullpen. I really think he gets resigned in the off season. Or they could just pick up his option. EDIT: Nevermind. This year was his option year. He is FA at the end of the season. SoxFan562004
Excellent news about Avi, and I have confidence Sox training crew is in no way rushing him.

ptatc
QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Aug 1, 2014 -> 11:57 AM) Less than 4 months. That is absolutely incredible. The rehab is typically 3-6 months. So it's not really that out of line. I'm surprised is this early but it's not crazy.

ron883
i hope Avi also worked on getting in shape. He is one hell of an athlete, but he seemed to have some fat on him.

BigHurt3515
In Avi's first 2 AB's he struck out but his last 2 he got hits.. I am sure it will take time to get going at full strength but some positive signs

elrockinMT
It is hard to project the left fielder. De Aza has some speed and swings a pretty good bat but after that failed catch of the liner last night that brought in 2 runs ---not good. Viciedo is an enigma. So much talent but just can't break through with a consistent approach at the plate. Sierra is young, but I think has a chance to stick but can he be a starter? I'd bring him up ASAP, like now, as a last-chance effort to get hot and make the one-game wild card.

Haha are you serious? We've been blown out by two of the worst teams in all of baseball and you're thinking about a wildcard!?
southsider2k5
Dan Hayes @DanHayesCSN 2h Avisail Garcia has only DH'd so far and needs more time for his body to build up. But Ventura said August return not out of question.
