At the ASB, I would have said I have no problem with him being a back end starter next year. If he puts up a 5 ERA this year, I would be worried about him being a huge liability going forward.

I think they need to field five guys that we like better than the current version of Danks.

The biggest issue his entire career has been lack of consistency in his mechanics.

Bigger problem imo It's a loose shoulder joint. Just can't throw the ball like he used to.

Last couple of games, he's been fouling off some meatballs that he had been hitting over the fence before the ASB. Thankfully, he's stopped chasing the slider low and away for the most part.
