thxfrthmmrs
We have been looking at this from the wrong angle all along. We just need to get rid of Belisario and promote Wilkins. Use Dunn in the bullpen and part time DH. This could only be addition by subtraction all the way through.
fathom
Seth Lakso @SethLakso · 19m Avisail Garcia being pinch-hit for by Matt Tuiasosopo here in the seventh inning. Garcia fouled a ball off his left knee in his previous AB
Jake
Screw this kid. If he's going to break my heart every few days with injuries then I'll just go like a team that will never be good, like the Cubs

fathom
QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Aug 7, 2014 -> 02:24 AM) Good god Avi. Considering he was able to continue his AB after fouling off the pitch, there's reason to think he'll be ok.
fathom
It's getting difficult to take any of the offensive numbers at this Charlotte ballpark seriously.

Ozzie Ball
Done so far: 4 IP, 3 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 6 SO He's another IFA guy that will hopefully emerge alongside Luis Martinez. Had an 11.35 K/9 and 3.90 GO/AO coming into this game. Control needs work though (6.14 BB/9).
GreenSox
None of those guys are tearing up AAA except for A Garcia and some of the AAAA outfielders. I don't see a major sense of urgency in moving JOhnson/Sanchez/Semien up - they can learn more in AAA.
caulfield12
There's no way Viciedo goes through waivers without at least being claimed. Just because someone claims him doesn't mean we will hear about it, if a trade can't be worked out.

Balta1701
QUOTE (GreenSox @ Aug 7, 2014 -> 12:35 AM) None of those guys are tearing up AAA except for A Garcia and some of the AAAA outfielders. I don't see a major sense of urgency in moving JOhnson/Sanchez/Semien up - they can learn more in AAA. Outside of an injury in July I'm not sure what else you expect to see from Sanchez. He's hit over .290 in every month of the year consistently. He's put up solid OBP's and overall batting numbers the full year. Unless he's going to magically inflate and become a muscle man where he develops more power I'm not sure what else he can do. He's not going to be Alex Roidriguez, but everything in his splits this season says he's shown what he needs to show. Micah can definitely stay in AAA for a while longer, he's only been there a short time and also had some injury time.
royoung
http://www.chicagonow.com/future-sox/2014/...r-sox-offenses/ Recap posted. Odd night, the Knights and Voyagers offenses couldn't be stopped, while the Dash and Intimidators could barely get a hit.
