#roadtocameron

do you think Cameron kid will there for the sox between 10-13 based in this dates standings???

the one I am intrigue with are outfielders, DJ Stewart and J McCarthy. where the sox are drafting

I am not getting a good feel for pitchers yet..

question on Cameron, is he a HS senior or will be a senior?

I'm with you. Also really like Nathan Kirby.

Honestly I'm with both of you I meant #roadtocameron in jest. I would prefer the sox pick the Duke stand out. Great command of his fastball that can hit 97 a great 12-6 curve, a good feel for his changeup and a potential average slider. Sign me up.

How do you guys have a handle on next year's draft already? We're talking 10 months from now.

I wouldn't call it a handle. Just an awareness of some of the likely top guys. Everything is clearly subject to change this early, but as a prospect guy this is the stuff I'm interested in. I saw both Mateulla and Kirby pitch a few times last season and was impressed by both.

I won't cheer for the Sox to lose but I won't cry about it if they do.

I guess I should start looking into potential top ten draft picks for next year. I like what I read about Cameron although at this point the Sox would have to fall further the rest of this season or he would have to fall next spring.

I'm going to start reading more about the players mentioned by others in this thread.

I believe the White Sox would currently have the #9 pick in the draft. Another top 10 pick would do wonders for the organization.

Only if they are close to playing in the big leagues. I believe the minor league instruction sucks until proven otherwise.

Basically, the way I feel right now is that I want to see the core guys do well. If that causes them to win the game, then great. However, if there's a game where Avi/Abreu/Eaton do nothing, and the Sox score because someone like Dunn did most of the damage, then it's not too exciting to me.

Frankly, this idea doesn't turn me on as much as it did last year. I think it is far more important that the guys play well and this team wins a few more games than it would just tanking. I'm petrified of getting stuck in a cycle of badness, and if 2015 is a lost season (as some are already saying) what then? Tank the 15 season also?

Last year was the worst I think I've seen this team play, it was different then than it is now. To me this is a group on the cusp of contending, and unless we lose every game from here on out were not getting Carlos Rodon II dropped in our laps a second time around.

How dose winning a few more games benefit the long term health of the franchise?

Give me a top a top ten pick

Winning benefits my health and that's all I care about. Well not 'all,' but I am selfish.

the way the sox been acquiring prospect thru the draft, I am confident that for their 1 rounder

they will go the college route. even if it mean a great hs'er.

some of the players that were mention by other posters who are pitchers a expected to be, high

first rounders. but still they may drop come next summer draft.

oops, sorry.

yeah Michael Matuella has an intriguing package of skills. 2 things come to my mind, who is his advisor

and will he be avail for the sox to pick when its time to pick.

Virginia is a power house they are forecast to have 3 high first rounder. when the high school kids

pick for recruitment time, Virginia replenished their systems again.
