ChiliIrishHammock24
Mitchell with a leadoff HR for CHA. He is now 5/24 in his return to AAA with 1 HR, 5 RBI, 1 BB, 5 K in 5+ games.

GGajewski18
QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Aug 9, 2014 -> 06:51 PM) Danish (along with Montas and Adams) makes me happy. And Rodon!! Those are some good pitching prospects.
ChiliIrishHammock24
I like that since his promotion to High-A, the only 19-year-old Danish has seen his K/9 and his BB/9 improve. K/9 has gone from 5.92 to 7.84. BB/9 has gone from 2.37 to 2.31 Which means his K/BB has improve from 2.5 to 3.4.
2nd_city_saint787
Man, I really hope Tyler's funky motion holds up and he can be a starter in a few years and for years to come after that. Dude is a boss. Last 10 games the dude has a 1.38 ERA with a 46/14 K/BB ratio. That includes a game where he went just 4 innings and gave up 3 runs. Take that game out and he has a 0.93 ERA since June 9th.
Bigsoxhurt35
We have some good pitching prospects. Hope we can develop Montas, Adams, Danish along with Rodon.
thxfrthmmrs
Chris Bassitt continues to prove doubters wrong. Hope he can do the same in AFL this year and gets a chance to battle for the 5th spot in next ST.
2nd_city_saint787
So far Beck, Bassit, and Danish have gone a combined 15 innings giving up just 5 hits. Beck- 5 IP 3 Hits 1BB 2Ks Bassit- 4 IP 2Hits 1BB 5Ks Still think both of those guys can be back end of the rotation guys.
Bigsoxhurt35
@SethLakso: Avi Garcia looking human for the first time tonight w/ the #cltknights. He’s 0-for-3 with a K & just misplayed a catchable fly ball in RF.
ILMOU
QUOTE (thxfrthmmrs @ Aug 9, 2014 -> 06:42 PM) Chris Bassitt continues to prove doubters wrong. Hope he can do the same in AFL this year and gets a chance to battle for the 5th spot in next ST. The Hound is dealing tonight. 11K 0R thru 6 IP. Six consecutive K's. Quin
QUOTE (SoxPride18 @ Aug 9, 2014 -> 06:53 PM) And Rodon!! Those are some good pitching prospects. To me Rodon is a given. It's just nice to have Montas, Danish, Adams, and even Beck and Bassitt behind him. If just two of those guys figure it out (or EJ rediscovers...everything) then there are your two righties to compliment Sale, Quintana and Rodon. 2nd_city_saint787
QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Aug 9, 2014 -> 08:43 PM) Danish is starting to become an extremely exciting prospect. Really think the only thing holding him back in terms of prospect ratings is the idea that his motion will limit him to the pen. I for one think that's a bit silly. He keeps dealing like he is I really think he should be right up there in the 2 or 3 spot within our org with some top 100 chatter as well.
