winninguglyin83
watching Varitek it is pretty obvious every time there are two strikes and fewer than three balls, he's calling for a high fastball. Dude is almost standing up behind the plate. did it to all three hitters that inning Kim in the ninth we're in trouble if he is one of those guys we've never faced before

Bmr31
You just keep coming back for more! Yeah for some stupid reason I thought some sox player might actually look like a major league hitter at the plate today.

If we hold them here, I think we've got a good shot at tying this up.

elrockinMT
The offense has been worse than pathetic tonight. We have these times during the season, but September is not the time to suck on offense. We have 3 more outs, but the way thse guys are swinging the bat it may not matter if we had 100 more outs to work with. However, Konerko and Crede and valentin have each stepped up before when needed and let's hope at least one does it tonight
aboz56
Pinch hit a dead baby for Jose. Let Buehrle hit for Jose, he got a clutch single at Wrigley back in June.
Bighurt52235
That pitch the Colon just got Damon with looked quite similar to the pitch he didn't get that would have been strike 3 to Nixon before he homered.
SoxFanForever
Lol, I have more faith in Buehrle hitting than Jose, might be a good idea Aboz
Gene Honda Civic
I'm getting a premonition Paulie goes yard to tie the game up. Frank wins it in extras.
