Tell that to the coaches of the team, then, because they don't seem to be on board with Davonta this year.

In fact: "With Steven Jackson (hamstring) still sidelined, Rodgers started and handled the vast majority of first-team work. Antone Smith mixed in sparingly and Devonta Freeman got just one series to himself. It's clear that Quizz, now in his fourth year with the Falcons, has the faith of the coaching staff even though they are aware of his talent limitations. He'd lead a committee approach if Jackson misses any time early in the season."

If anything, it would be RBBC if/when SJax goes down. Good team but I'd definitely see if any other true handcuffs/backups are available and drop Quiz. (West, Polk, Davis, Starks etc...)

12 team, PPR, standard scoring

QB: Drew Brees

RB: Ben Tate

RB: Toby Gerhart

WR: AJ Green

WR: Michael Crabtree

TE: Kyle Rudolph

FX: Michael Floyd

D/ST: Bills

K: Dan Carpenter

Bench:

RB: Mark Ingram, Lance Dunbar, Christine Michael

WR: Dwayne Bowe, Justin Hunter, Kenny Britt

TE: Tim Wright

I had the 12th pick and wasn't happy about the running backs I had to pick from, and I'm still not particularly happy, but I think I can live.

Dropped Tim Wright for Jordan Matthews.

Yes, the idea of a handcuff is to have a guy who will assume the full workload of the guy who got hurt, not someone that's going to be in a committee.

NFL upholds 1 year suspension. Glad someone else drafted him.

Yeah thank god I didn't waste a pick.

BUT MATTHEW BERRY SAID IT WAS A GREAT MOVE!!!!!!!

Nice hindsight, guys.

It was well worth a buck in an auction, or a 10th and 11th round pick. No question. Hard to "waste" an 11th round pick considering everything else that's there.

I need to scramble to figure out who I'm going to draft for my work league tonight. What's the best sources I can plow through for rankings?

I use Rotoworld for depth charts. Yahoo or espn work for rankings.

I didn't mean that I didn't want him or that I'm blaming anybody else for taking him. I stated in this thread that I was looking to draft him around that time frame and someone else picked him before I could. I got Dwayne Bowe and Justin Hunter with my 9th and 10th round swing picks, two guys who I think have the possibility to be WR2s and, had Gordon been there for my 11th round pick, I was going to take him. I've never said otherwise, but yes, in hindsight, I'm glad someone else took him.

I own Gordon in a league with 20 roster spots (9 bench spots) so I'm hanging on to him. I'm going to post this in both this and the NFL thread. It's basically detailing how Gordon could, and by Ohio law should, be able to appeal this.

Yup, I'm not dropping him yet, going to let this play out.

I joined a 10 team public league on Yahoo just for fun. Those leagues are no real fun. Way too many good players left on the free agent market.

My bench is absolutely stacked. There's 3 guys who would have been starters in a 12 team league on my bench (Spiller, Decker, Kaepernick).

Peterson

Martin

Lamar Miller

Bush

Harvin

Floyd

Jordy Nelson
