12 team, I've never made the playoffs in this league. I've never had a good draft. I fell on the bad side of a TE run (also 4 TEs were keepers)

QB-Foles

WR- Cobb

WR - Victor Cruz

RB - Adrian Peterson

RB - Lamar Miller

TE - Cook/Graham (not two TEs, just not sure which to start)

Flex - TY Hilton

Bench - Hyde, Watkins, Jeremy Hill, McFadden, RGIII

K- Prater (autodrafted, sigh)

DEF - STL

D - Patrick Peterson

Yeah I think that offense will make the personnel, and really believe in Jordan Matthews. College to pros leaps sometimes don't make sense, but he was literally the only passing offense Vanderbilt had and would still get open at will in the SEC.

Who was your 2nd round pick here?

Cobb @ 18. Peterson was a 1st round keeper.

Also: our keepers are not if you keep 2 you lose your first 2 rounds. you only lose the round you drafted them in which accelerates each year.

So Cobb @ 18 isn't necessarily the 18th player taken.

Buddy offered me Tavon Austin and Fred Jackson for Lamar Miller, thoughts?

I'm really high on Lamar Miller in that new offense. I have huge reservations about Austin performing on that team, but I may be way off. He may be the deep threat Hill connects with.

That's why I drafted Miller so this one is tough for me. It is a PPR league

Tavon Austin, from what ive seen, is a guy that's not even getting drafted. Not sure how much value you have there with Shaun Hill at QB in St. Louis now. Fred Jackson and Lamar Miller are pretty much even to me, difference being Fred Jackson will have to fight off CJ Spiller and Bryce Brown while Lamar Miller only has to deal with Knowshon Moreno. Outside of last season, Moreno hasnt been that great of a back so I would prolly stick with Miller.

Brady's WRs had the 2nd most drops in the NFL last year behind Stafford. Also, 7 times, his WRs were tackled at the 1 yard line. Also no Gronk.

Resisting temptation.

Don't. Has a great chance to have the best season outside the top 3.

In addition to what you said above, he was the #3 QB when Vereen was in the lineup.

Your receivers are very average.

horrible draft. waited too long on the top RBs in an auction draft and ended up grabbing murray and a bunch of third tier RBs in hopes that a couple hit. and then later rounds missed my nomination turn and got stuck with yahoo defaulting a kicker and IDP leaving me with $5 on the table that I planned on spending towards another WR3/4 (guys like decker and sanders were still available, that hurts)...

10 team standard scoring, think I stand a chance? To me it's looking like a 6th/7th place type of team...

QB - Foles

RB - Murray

RB - Bush/J. Bell

WR - Jeffrey

WR - Brown

Flex - VJax

TE - Davis

DEF - SF

Bench

WR - Floyd

RB - Richardson

RB - Tate

RB - CJ2K

RB - Vereen

If Vereen is the starter in NE (Pats beat writer is projecting Ridley to be cut, but I HIGHLY doubt that) Murray/Vereen isn't a bad RB tandem at all.

To go back to the Brady discussion, the addition of Tim Wright could be huge for Brady. If they stay healthy, and Wright gets utilized like Hernandez, then a Gronk, Wright, Vereen, Edleman, LaFell etc. is a solid group to throw to....But then again health is of course a concern.

I ended up with

Kaepernick

Lacy, Vereen

Marshall, Keenan Allen

Gronk

Crabtree

Nick Novak

Chiefs DST

Pierre Thomas, Reggie Wayne, Freeman, Shorts, Mike Evans, Deangelo Williams

Probably should have drafted a backup for Gronk but you only yolo once.

That looks solid for a ppr. Hell it looks good for standard too. What do you think of my team above? Should I try upgrading any positions by trading away some rb depth?

Had a draft last night. Started an hour late because a guy was traveling for work. I'm ok with that.

But what's with guys taking three minutes to take a pick? It literally takes me fifteen seconds. Narrow your options as your turn approaches. Eliminate names as they're picked and make your choice immediately. It's not a life/death decision.

Draft took almost 3.5 hours - plus the hour delay. Oh, and ther were a few of us doing it online while the rest gathered at a friend's house. I logged into the draft room twenty minutes before he draft. Five hours total time spent.
