Wise Master Buehrle
http://mlb.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/mlb/news/mlb...t=.jsp&c_id=mlb Pretty funny, IMO, too bad those litterbug Cub fans won't get any attention for this.

LowerCaseRepublican
Try having a room full of Cub fans next door to you and a Cards fan down the hall watching the game. The room of Cubbie fans went NUTS when that ball went foul. They were going f***ing ballistic. Goddamn I was laughing so hard and I have never heard them use so much profanity...and the ump calling a fair ball foul...CLASSIC.

I'm sure the Cards and their fans were pissed off at the Pujols catch that was wrongly ruled a drop...f*** the Cubs and their fans :fthecubs

The Cards should have shut out the Cubs twice at 2-
YASNY
What is totally amazing to me about this, is that I just read 2 articles on this at chicago sports dot com. There is not one reference to Alou spitting on the umpire. How blatantly biased can the Cubune be? That would be like noe mentioning the work "Cork" this summer. :fthecubs
southsider2k5
Funny how things even themselves out... Now the interesting thing will be how big Alfonseca's suspension is, and what if anything will happen to Alou. Smart moves in the middle of the pennant race guys

Smart moves in the middle of the pennant race guys Alfonsixa and Moisty A-lube will probably only get a game if that. Moisty was visibly pissed as was Alfonsixa but I didn't see either spit at the umpire. Then again, I'm sure the local and national media will make sure no one that wasn't in attendance will ever see that. R Alomar spitting on the ump was all the media showed when the White Sox acquired him on the other hand

R Alomar spitting on the ump was all the media showed when the White Sox acquired him on the other hand Alfonseca bumped the ump so hard the crew chief said that he hadn't seen anything that blatent in his 27 years of work. Both the crew cheif and Chip Carrey separately said that the ump got pushed back "10-12 feet" after Alfonseca made contact with him. Alf is going to get a LONG (about 10 games I would guess) suspension. The only thing that saved Alou from meeting the same fate was Kenny Lofton grabbed him and dragged him away after he had been thrown out of the game. IlliniBob72
I saw very little of the Cubs game last night, but it did see something I couldn't believe. Matt Morris struck Kerry Wood out with a wicked curve ball. Right after they showed Matt Morris laughing his ass off. I could only assume it was at how sick he made Wood look. My suspicions were confirmed when I was told today that Wood knocked Morris down 3 times with inside fastballs later in the game. Not surprised. I still enjoyed it though.
