Neshek gets over $6 million a year for 2 years. I wonder how much less these guys would have been paid had the A's and the great Jon Lester not blown a big lead late in the WC game. The Royals would have been eliminated instead of almost winning a WS with a pretty average team with great defense and a great bullpen.

 

The floodgates were going to open for relievers getting paid eventually, but probably not now IMO.

Meh. It's only for one more year (option year), so I guess it should work out fine for LA. I don't know how many more years Rollins can hold up at SS.
