Al Lopez Ghost (old)
Benjie Molina dropped a ball in a collision at the plate, and the ball rolled so far away the winning run scored too. Think there were two outs. f***.
mac9001
Molina caused that by only using one hand, two hands dumbass, two hands.

Troy Percival killed us.
danman31
Troy Percival killed us. He had the game won. The catcher blew it. If you saw that play I don't know how you can blame Percival.
winninguglyin83
if he strikes out a Triple A hitter, Shannon Stewart never comes to the plate. Troy Percival shouldn't be walking a rookie hitter with TWO STRIKES and two outs in the bottom of the ninth. they both were at fault. Troy Percival shouldn't be walking a rookie hitter with TWO STRIKES and two outs in the bottom of the ninth. they both were at fault. The fact remains that Percival got 3 outs. He can't control whether the catcher holds the ball or not. That's why they call them UNearned runs. The offense didn't earn them by beating the pitcher, the defense made a mistake. YASNY
I've been told that Molina broke his wrist on the play. That would explain him not holding on to the ball, I would think.

Except he wouldn't have broke his wrist if he had 2 hands on the ball.
