BlackSox13
And the AL Central winners are swept from the playoffs! Way to represent! Hey Detroit. Speaking of representing, the Royals are up 2-0 in their series. Ouch! Glad to see the Tigers exit so quickly. Good job Orioles!

cabiness42
So the Tigers got swept, Michigan is 2-4, and the Lions lost. What a weekend for Detroit! (Throw in a horrible race by Brad K if you happen to follow NASCAR.)

flavum
Orioles-Royals. Never been happier to see two sweeps in the DS... if KC wins.
fathom
Not sure if it's been posted, but Showalter is on the verge of winning Manager of the Year in 1994, 2004 and 2014. Also, it was funny hearing Hawk and Stone say the other day that he requests the radar guns be turned up for the Orioles, and slowed down for the opposition when Baltimore has a home game. LittleHurt05
Given the salary, Nelson Cruz may have been one of the best free agent signings of all time. Let's Go O's!

SoxAce
QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Oct 5, 2014 -> 08:31 PM) 2014 Royals - 95 home runs 2005 White Sox - 200 home runs Hey his words not mine.. I'm going to assume he meant their defense and pitching. Lorenzo Cain is putting on a show as I type this. Obviously their staff will never duplicate what ours did that postseason but they're getting alot of luck. BlackSox13
Pitching, speed and defense can carry a team a loooong way! I'm not a Royals fan, tho I was a huge George Brett fan as a kid, but I would like to see the Royals in the ALCS. That said, once the ALCS starts, GO ORIOLES! Do for Earl!!!
