I'm sure a lot of us would take .240 AVG with 25-30 HRs.

well after 1 lousy yr, no one should give up on him. esp with what he brings to the table skill wise. i am going with what he has done and not what his ceiling is. so 20+ hrs, and here is what i am hoping for 240+ in avg.

so why didn't Hahn just say, they are hoping for a rebound from Davidson and will address the position needs during spring training.

Media session going on now with Hahn.

Hahn: "Our absolute intent and belief is that we are going to contend this year."

Rick Hahn: "We don't do this just to win 80 games. We do this to play deep into October." #SoxFest2015 #WhiteSox

Rick Hahn says Carlos Rodon and Frank Montas could work their way to MLB rotation through the bullpen. #WhiteSox

Carlos Rodon will enter spring training as a starter, says #WhiteSox GM Rick Hahn. Nothing finalized re: Bullpen/rotation in 2015.

White Sox still may be in market for bullpen depth. Rick Hahn also said good def. infielder who can hit vs. LHP. T. Saladino an option.

Already completely disorganized. They're holding people who want autographs in the seminar room and not letting them go to the autograph sessions until after the opening ceremonies.

Wouldnt that be to keep things more organized?

Normally they open doors at 3:30 or so and let people go to whichever session they want to go to. Everyone who is not in the ceremonies room right now has almost 0 to no chance of getting an autograph or attending the first seminar.

Hmm. So by the time those get into seminar and autograph areas the first sessions will be over with then?

More or less, yes. They aren't giving wristbands to those outside of the seminar room so after the opening ceremonies, those not in the room will be pushing and shoving to get to where they want to go.

If you're coming tomorrow and not staying at the hotel, you're going to have to get here at 5 or 6 in the morning to get an autograph or see Hahn and Ventura talk.

They need to have these at McCormick Place IMO. This way everyone is at the opening ceremony and easier access to pretty much everything.

That is always how they did it in the past. First people in line for the opening ceremonies are the first ones into the fest.

Yes but they're holding the people in the room and not allowing them to go to their autograph session until after the opening.
