Soxplosion
The Sox arent playing better. The Cubs are easily. The Sox are just a loser team doing well in a loser division.

Not sure if you noticed, but the first place Cards/Astros are about as good record wise as the White Sox. Both divisions are equally s***ty, and I don't appreciate the Sox being called losers. They haven't lost anything yet, aside from a few games(like every other team on the face of the planet)

Some people only b****, and Roman is one of those who I can no longer stand. It's getting to me as well. The fact that some of these people don't realize that we do have 14 games left with the Twins and Royals bugs me. That could be a positive or negative, and the way the Sox have played against those two this year, I think it will be a positive instead of a negative. Soxplosion
Maybe theyll beat the other two losers in this division (Royals and Twins) but what are they going to do in the postseason? This team doesnt have what it takes...

Didn't we have this talk a few months ago after you cheered the Sox losing? Sox lose two in a row and you're already diving overboard. Can you just leave, because I'm still waiting to see these so called "intelligent" posts of yours that you whined like a small child about. You want us to take you seriously? Then don't speak. This team doesnt have what it takes... Once you get to the postseason, anything can happen. It is the team that gets hot at the right time, and not the team that is stacked up best against every other team, that usually wins. We have one of the better 1-2-3 combos in the AL, and an offense that can explode on the competition at any time, as well as a bullpen that is starting to come around. You are going to tell me that this would have no chance in the playoffs? I don't think so. Someone apparently forgot to tell the Angels and Giants that last year. YASNY
I don't see anything wrong with the ESPN comment, either. However, as a Sox fan, I do take offense at Roman calling them losers.

Not at all. Ive called them that many of times under my breath. I can see why some wouldnt like it but hell, maybe if the sox would play one smart ball game it wouldnt happen. I can see why some wouldnt like it but hell, maybe if the sox would play one smart ball game it wouldnt happen. Who hasn't said that they're through with the team after a heartbreaker? I think the difference is that after the initial reaction, you regain your senses. After what looked like an Ortiz gapper went over the fence I screamed "f***!" told my wife that I hate the Sox with every fiber of my being, she said "Of course you do, honey." and that was it. 30 seconds later I realized they're still in first and it's just a tough luck loss. To feel that way long enough to jump on the 'puter and type out those feelings either shows immaturity in your love for your team or a psychological disorder. It helps me that I've come to realize that no matter what the Sox do, I still have to go to work the next day, pay my bills, get to spend time with my family, etc. I've learned to enjoy sports a lot more once I've learned this. Soxplosion
And what was wrong with this statement? Other than the fact that we are NOT really playing that well, this doesnt say anything about the Sox. It says the Cubs arent the only team in Chicago, but heck, the way we play sometimes one could argue that they are the only "team".

Hey, the Cubs have had their bad spurts just like we have, so if they play like ass for a week ... then does that make it 0 teams in chicago?
