Whisox05
Last and only few times I heard the white sox connection with him was supposedly abreu trying to sell him to hahn. Other then that nothing on being at or holding work outs for him.
Bigsoxhurt35
@georgeofman: Look for White Sox to bid high for Cuban free agent Yasmany Tomas. Power corner outfielder who knows Abreu.
Chisoxfn
Would be a total shocker if Sox but pretty cool and exciting.

Power corner outfielder who knows Abreu. Pretty sure that was from like a month ago. I'll guess Phillies or Padres.

Baron
I'll guess the Padres. But let us not forget...we didnt hear anything about Jose Abreu until he was close to signing. There was some speculation at first that we would be involved but nothing concrete. I dont think it will be us but it wouldnt be that surprising. BigHurt3515
Why would any hitter go to the Padres? If they do get him they must have offered him a lot more money and a starting position

They seem pretty interested Doesn't necessarily mean he would want to play for a losing team and in that ballpark.. You would think after seeing the success of Abreu he would want to come here or a hitter's friendly park.. But it is probably all about the money with him and his agent

But let us not forget...we didnt hear anything about Jose Abreu until he was close to signing. There was some speculation at first that we would be involved but nothing concrete. I dont think it will be us but it wouldnt be that surprising. There was a ton of speculation about the Sox being a leader from Abreu from day one. Outside of a few stray tweets, I haven't seen anything for us.

BlackSox13
I doubt very seriously the sox sign Tomas. I am curious who he signs with. Most rumors have him tabbed for Philly which sounds about right. I doubt the Padres level of interest since Tomas has to play the field in the NL and then consider playing in the big spacious outfields in the NLW, yikes. Considering Tomas is speculated to get 12-15M annually, I'll tank Viciedo and his 4M thank you.
