southsider2k5
QUOTE (SnB @ Mar 4, 2015 -> 03:27 PM) Looks like tomorrow is the last day of winter? Highs in the 30s and 40s for the foreseeable future. THANK GOD. The sad thing is that "normal" for this time of year is 40. 40 is going to feel like 65 after the last couple of months.

greg775
QUOTE (knightni @ Mar 24, 2015 -> 01:12 PM) Northern weather. It snowed 2 inches yesterday, it's 60 with T-Storms on Wednesday, then it will go down to 15 on Saturday. That's really insane. I hate the March/April snowstorms. Hate to get in an accident or something when it should be 60 every day as a minimum.

Jenksismyhero
This summer I bought a two year old, rarely used, 24 inch, 2 stage electric start Craftsman snow blower, that retails for $750, for a whopping $200 bucks. I'm ready and excited to get a ton of snow so I can use it. BRING IT ON WINTER!

NorthSideSox72
QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Nov 11, 2015 -> 03:26 PM) This summer I bought a two year old, rarely used, 24 inch, 2 stage electric start Craftsman snow blower, that retails for $750, for a whopping $200 bucks. I'm ready and excited to get a ton of snow so I can use it. BRING IT ON WINTER! Shut up, you. The novelty wears off about 2 months in. Though I will say, even a few years after getting a serious snowblower, I am still glad I got it when I can finish the job in 20 minutes instead of 45 with the crappy old single-stage we had (or hours with a shovel). GoSox05
The key is to move next to someone who has a snowblower and loves to use it. So much so that they clean my driveway every time in snows.
Jenksismyhero
QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Nov 11, 2015 -> 03:28 PM) Where'd you find that? Friends of my parents moved to Texas (had enough of the winter) and they were looking to get rid of it when they were getting packed up. I asked how much, he said $200, I said sold! Thing looks/runs great.
StrangeSox
QUOTE (GoSox05 @ Nov 11, 2015 -> 03:45 PM) The key is to move next to someone who has a snowblower and loves to use it. So much so that they clean my driveway every time in snows. I noticed a large pickup truck-mounted plow sitting in our potential new neighbor's driveway... Our current neighbor did this for us several times and is usually really good about it when I'm out of town for work.
